36 Days of Interpolation

My addition to the 2018 36 Days of Type. A variable font experiment.

What's 36 Days of Type?

36 Days of Type is a project that invites Designers, Illustrators and Graphic Artists to design a letter or number a day for 36 days. For my participation this year, I decided to explore variable type and create a different variable character each day.

What's interpolation, or a variable font?

A variable font uses the newish OpenType variable font format. This format allows multiple font styles to coexist within a single file. In the past you had one font file for Bold, one for Regular, one for italic and so forth. Using the Variable font format you fit it all in one file, with the added benefit of being able to step between the different versions using variable font slider.

My variable font consists of two master files with one axis that you can slide between.

Can I have it?
